Frequently Asked Questions
Getting started & pricing
Q: Is Paxaden free?
Yes. Paxaden has a free plan for personal use and small clubs. Create stores and start receiving bookings at no cost.
Q: How do I start?
Create an account, add your first store, add a resource (for example a staff member or the thing you want people to book), and enable bookings. See Getting started for step-by-step help or reach out via the contact form.
Q: Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Start free and upgrade when you need more. Check the Pricing page for current packages.
Bookings & access
Q: Can I invite others to book?
Yes. Every store supports invite-only access. Share invite links or unique access codes so only approved people can book — no account required for code-based bookers.
Q: Can people book without an account?
Yes. Bookers can use an access code, invite link, email verification, or SMS code to reserve a slot without creating an account.
Q: Can I limit how often someone books?
Yes. Set limits per day, week, or a custom window (e.g., a max number per user within a rolling 7-day period).
Q: Can I set a cancellation window?
Yes. Require cancellations a certain time before start — for example, at least 24 hours in advance.
Q: What happens when a booking is declined?
The slot opens immediately for others, and the requester is notified.
Reminders & sharing
Q: Can I sync bookings to my own calendar?
Yes. Sync to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and more so bookings appear with your other events.
Q: How can I share or promote my calendar?
Share invite links or print a QR code from Paxaden so guests can scan and book from their phone.
Q: Can I send reminders?
Yes. Paxaden supports email reminders and SMS (Sweden) so bookers get the right info in time.
Security & support
Q: Is my data secure?
Paxaden uses Supabase authentication and follows best practices for access control and data protection.
Q: How do you protect the contact form from spam?
The contact form uses reCAPTCHA v3 plus a honeypot. Suspect submissions are filtered before they reach us.
Q: How do I get support?
Use the contact form and we’ll reply by email. Include the page URL and a short description for faster help.
Private or public
Q: Can I make a private calendar only my clients can see?
Yes. Keep a calendar private (invite-only) or share a read-only public view — you choose.
