How Brf Solgläntan fixed laundry booking with access-code post-its
Challenge: Older residents found apps and logins confusing. Many had no social media or email, so laundry was booked with paper slips in the basement — leading to double bookings, confusion, and extra admin for the board.
How we solved it with Paxaden
- Each household got a post-it with a six-digit access code. The back had a QR straight to the laundry booking page.
- The code works in a browser — no app, no account, no fuss.
- We set max bookings per week and per day, plus short buffers between slots.
- The board now sees all bookings in their calendar, can export when needed, and can rotate or replace codes when someone moves.
Result
Even residents without apps or social media now book online. Fewer double bookings, less hallway drama, and everyone can see availability from the kitchen table.
